Burrell Behavioral Health staffs full-time School-Based Clinicians for student mental health and community-support needs within the Hollister School District, including the Early Childhood Center, serving all students, preschool age through high school. These School-Based Clinicians provide individual, group, and family therapy, while two School-Based Support Specialists provide skill-building and self-regulation opportunities for youth. Students are typically referred to Burrell’s providers by classroom teachers and/or school counseling staff and can be connected to other Burrell services outside the school with parent or guardian approval. Burrell also specializes in providing consultation services and professional development for Hollister teachers on the topic of mental health.
