Communications Department

The Hollister R-V School District is committed to open, honest, and ongoing communication with our school community. We understand that maintaining a two-way conversation is essential for building relationships.

These relations are the foundation of a strong school system. The district desires to foster strong relationships with district stakeholders.

Statistics consistently show that schools are among the safest places to be due to the strong commitment of educators, families, and our community to our students and schools. We strive to be proactive rather than reactive. In the event of an emergency situation, the Hollister R-V School District has developed a guide that outlines the key elements of our state of preparedness. We hope it will answer questions you have concerning our actions and intentions in the event of an emergency.

PARENTSQUARE & STUDENTSQUARE

The Hollister R-V School District uses ParentSquare (and StudentSquare) as our main communication platform. ParentSquare is a two-way communication tool that provides a safe way for school employees to communicate with parents and students (high school and middle school) in one place. ParentSquare is a unified platform for all communication, more parent/guardian involvement, robust engagement features, an app for mobile users, and two-way language translations.

ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

StudentSquare automatically generates an account for each middle and high school student, using their school email address and mobile number (if the mobile number is in Infinite Campus). We encourage students to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.ParentSquare
