Mendoza Class 3 State Track Champion

Hollister High School is proud to announce that sophomore Sinry Mendoza has achieved remarkable success at the recent Class 3 State Track Meet, bringing home multiple top finishes. Mendoza secured 1st Place in the 3200 Meter, 2nd Place in the 1600 Meter, and 2nd Place in the 800 Meter races, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to athletics.

Sinry's dedication and passion for track and field were evident as he led the competition, demonstrating both resilience and skill. "Winning State is something you can't describe. I've been working for this my whole life," said Sinry, reflecting on his victory and the hard work that led to this moment. His performances not only highlight his athletic prowess but also his commitment to his training and the sport.

Coach Wenger praised Mendoza’s strategic approach to the competition, stating, "Sinry executed our game plan perfectly. He ran like he wanted to win and after all his hard work this season, he achieved his ultimate goal. STATE CHAMPION!"
