Fine Arts

VOCAL MUSIC

  • The Hollister Vocal Music Program begins when students enter kindergarten as part of their regular education.  Students in 4th and 5th grades have the opportunity to audition for CUB CHOIR, which is an extra-curricular activitiy.

    Students in grades 6th through 7th may participate in choir as their elective and students in 9th through 12th as a fine art elective.  Students perform at evening concerts and some community events.  Students also participate in MSHSAA district and state contests. 

    Additionally students in grades 9th through 12th have the opporunity to audition for SHOW CHOIR.

BAND AND COLOR GUARD

  • The Hollister Band Program begins in 6th grade where students may choose band as their elective. Students in grades 6th through 12th have opporutinities to participate in various compoenets of the band program.which consists of concert band, marching band, color guard, winter winds, and jazz band.

  • The Hollister Guitar Program is open to students in 9th through 12th grades.

THEATRE

  • The Tiger Theatre company is for Hollister High School students in grades 9-12. Some productions and activities require an audition and some auditions are opened to students in other grades.
