Mr. Mark Waugh is the Hollister Early Childhood Center and Elementary School Principal. He has been an administrator with the Hollister R-V School District since 2011. Mr. Waugh began his educational career in 2001. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Graceland University, Master of Science in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University, and holds a Specialist in Educational Administration degree from SBU.

Under Mr. Waugh’s leadership, the Hollister Early Childhood Center’s infant and preschool program enrollment has more than doubled, allowing the majority of Hollister students to enter kindergarten school-ready. In 2023, Hollister Elementary School was awarded silver in the best elementary schools of Southwest Missouri, the Hollister Early Childhood Center was voted the best childcare provider in the Tri-Lakes Region, and Mr. Waugh was chosen the Tri-Lakes Regoin’s Best Principal.

Mr. Waugh is relentless in his pursuit of laying a strong educational foundation and supportive, family environment for all students who walk the halls of the Hollister Early Childhood Center and Elementary School.
