Dr. Sean Woods began his educational career with the Hollister R-V School District in 2005. Before stepping into administration in 2007, he served as a social studies teacher, coach, and activity sponsor. After spending time as the assistant principal, and then lead principal of Hollister High School, Dr. Woods became the Assistant Superintendent of District Operations in 2014. He earned his Doctorate in Education Administration from Lindenwood University.
Under Dr. Woods's leadership, the operations department strives every day to provide an environment that is conducive to the learning of all students. Dr. Woods instills a sense of pride within his department and allows each of the team members in the operations department to take ownership of their area and responsibilities.
With a passion for influencing and helping all students as they learn and grow into productive members of the Hollister Community and of the world, Dr. Woods has a way of reaching out to and helping those who need help the most. He is able to invest in those students and propel them into something bigger than they themselves ever thought they could be.
